The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abel Cardozo charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abel Cardozo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Abel Cardozo kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. El Salvador's Moises Fernandino got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Moises Fernandino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcinho Félix having to make a save. After 24 minutes, Luis Rubio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Salvador and the Juventus Turim- DMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Juventus Turim- DMZ booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Rubio didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Moises Fernandino came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the El Salvador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moises Fernandino couldn't finish the play. In the 34th minute, Valentino Ferrant got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Juventus Turim- DMZ's Charles Rodrigues managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Luis Rubio in the 36 minute of the game. In the 37th minute Pedrinho Nóbrega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Moises Fernandino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marcinho Félix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Fernandino in the 47th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Moises Fernandino to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had been going on for 54 minutes, El Salvador's Mateo Leguizamo got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Marcinho Félix. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Gustavo Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abram Luque's late challenge caught a Juventus Turim- DMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abram Luque helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Abram Luque hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedrinho Nóbrega in the 70th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Charles Rodrigues kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Juventus Turim- DMZ's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Moises Fernandino fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 75th minute, Moises Fernandino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abel Cardozo struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Ricardo Zorita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juventus Turim- DMZ. Valentino Ferrant could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Marcinho Félix made a huge save. The supporters of Juventus Turim- DMZ booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abram Luque didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 88 played minutes, Juventus Turim- DMZ's Rodolfo Gøth shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Juventus Turim- DMZ reached it. In the 95th minute, Pedrinho Nóbrega got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
