Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dráuzio Pontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. With a left leg Rolando Noboa saved Peru from getting behind. 70 minutes into the match, Falconara Albanese's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Arne Grabner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Per-Olof Kaxe kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match.
