Through an outstanding action, after 19 minutes, Ismael Medero successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Berganza in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ismael Medero saved HACHITAS WC from getting behind. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celedonio Jokin, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Ismael Medero made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Tomas Berganza sent off a good shot on target. When Baltasar Veremundo came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the HACHITAS WC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baltasar Veremundo couldn't finish the play. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baltasar Veremundo in the 40th minute of play. Ismael Medero was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tomas Berganza showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 49 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. After 81 minutes, Tomas Berganza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Panama and the HACHITAS WC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 81 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Berganza. If Vladimiro Jerold had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute, Aaron Barrios hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Fidel Telo could shoot a difficult shot in the 89th minute, which Marcos Cotilla however easily saved by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in HACHITAS WC's zone, Isidoro Sarmiento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ismael Medero came out of the goal and Isidoro Sarmiento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ismael Medero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
