Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Lubomír Meszároš kicked off to start the match. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Belmiro Negri was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. The corner led to MALAIA FDFDF's Lubomír Meszároš getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 17th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. Mazinho Correia made in the 23rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Venezuela's Jose Correa. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Belmiro Negri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Guillermo Mariano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MALAIA FDFDF the free kick. After 26 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Venezuela! When the match had been going on for 28 minutes, MALAIA FDFDF's Vitinho Pontes got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. In the 34th minute Edgar Tasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MALAIA FDFDF were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vitinho Pontes took the corner. Edgar Tasso did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant 36 minutes into the match. A collision led to MALAIA FDFDF getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Romildo Binder hit a great ball. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Belmiro Negri having to interfere. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

With a little luck, MALAIA FDFDF's Belmiro Negri got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 54th minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. The supporters of MALAIA FDFDF booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Edgar Tasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. MALAIA FDFDF's Belmiro Negri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save MALAIA FDFDF from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, MALAIA FDFDF's Belmiro Negri got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 70th minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Tomas Illescas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Belmiro Negri quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With his leg Belmiro Negri managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 72 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Lubomír Meszároš came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgar Tasso in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Belmiro Negri was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tomas Illescas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-1 in the 78 minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Tasso came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 90 minutes, Tomas Illescas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the MALAIA FDFDF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Illescas to maneuver through the defense. 92 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Tasso came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. MALAIA FDFDF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
