Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Gala's Bozhil Krushovski started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The Gala fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Gala's Bozhil Krushovski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 9th minute of play forced Gala's goalkeeper Suryo Zaelani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bozhil Krushovski in the 16th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th play minute Alberto Di Blasio came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. 2-0. 24 minutes into the match, Gala's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Suryo Zaelani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 25 minutes, Bozhil Krushovski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gala's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bozhil Krushovski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Bozhil Krushovski sent off a good shot on target. Suryo Zaelani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Suryo Zaelani prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Alberto Di Blasio succeeded in the game's 37th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tord Carlsson in the 42nd minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

56 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Tord Carlsson came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bozhil Krushovski in the 66th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Bozhil Krushovski came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guillermo Mariano during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Gala booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute Katon Sahilatua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 76 minutes, Alberto Di Blasio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gala's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Di Blasio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Gala getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Alfredo Ferrini hit a great ball. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 80th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bozhil Krushovski in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Katon Sahilatua managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gala's supporters rose to their feet, but Katon Sahilatua was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bozhil Krushovski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Gala fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
