Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Antônio Aguiar made the kick off which started today's match. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antônio Aguiar in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Hortêncio Montenegro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmundo Espiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zé Vieira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lautaro Navarro made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Rui Silva sent off a good shot on target. 17 minutes into the game, Dedé Ribeiro threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Luca Espinar quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 18 minutes into the match, Inazuma Japan's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Villa came free, but Zé Vieira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Honduras were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Inazuma Japan's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edmundo Espiga took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Christian Sancho heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Zé Vieira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Christian Sancho hit a great ball. When Rui Silva came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Inazuma Japan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rui Silva couldn't finish the play. Zé Vieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Villa in the 26th minute of play. Amadeu Pontes made in the 28th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Rui Silva immediately put the ball in play. Milagros Cabal kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Inazuma Japan's Dedé Correia shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 30th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Lautaro Navarro but with some difficulty. Dedé Correia charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dedé Correia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antônio Aguiar in the 34th minute of play. Milagros Cabal kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 44th minute of play forced Inazuma Japan's goalkeeper Zé Vieira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmundo Espiga placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmundo Espiga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zé Vieira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Edmundo Espiga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zé Vieira having to make a save. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Inazuma Japan's goalkeeper Zé Vieira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Antônio Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antônio Aguiar took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After 66 played minutes Inazuma Japan got a freekick which was hit by Dedé Correia. Sebastian Villa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 71 played minutes, Inazuma Japan's Rui Silva shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Inazuma Japan reached it. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Inazuma Japan getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Dedé Correia hit a great ball. Inazuma Japan's Antônio Aguiar got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 92nd minute, Luca Espinar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
