Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaroslaw Gozdowski in the 9th minute of play. If Jaroslaw Gozdowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 16th match minute, Bogoryja SA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Czeslaw Podolski to maneuver through the defense. In the 18thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bogoryja SA's Slawomir Majtyka was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Valentín Carvallo hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valentín Carvallo during the 20th minute. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sebastian Villa in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Slawomir Majtyka saved Bogoryja SA from getting behind. When Bogoryja SA's Jaroslaw Gozdowski in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Honduras's goalie prevented a goal. After 44 minutes, Rafal Plachetka mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bogoryja SA and the Honduras players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jaroslaw Gozdowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Jaroslaw Gozdowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lautaro Navarro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Ivan Navarro made in the 54th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Sebastian Villa. Jaroslaw Gozdowski struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bogoryja SA. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Ivan Navarro hit a great ball. In the 64th minute of the match, Jaroslaw Gozdowski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lautaro Navarro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The Honduras manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Bogoryja SA to win.
