Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cüneyt Berksoy in the 3rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Cüneyt Berksoy put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Mingo Camats made in the 12th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Paolo Ruisko however managed to control. In the 13th minute Santino Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateus Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mateus Cruz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Axel Montenegro in the 14th minute. Mateus Cruz was a little too slow when Abram Sarmiento got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 1-1. Pedro Manzanares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cüneyt Berksoy's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascual Carballar in the 37th minute of play forced UPTEXTIL.COM's goalkeeper Mateus Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute Cüneyt Berksoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cüneyt Berksoy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. 42 minutes into the match, UPTEXTIL.COM's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Mateus Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cüneyt Berksoy made a kick off. If Cüneyt Berksoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Cüneyt Berksoy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Cüneyt Berksoy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 61st minute, Cüneyt Berksoy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UPTEXTIL.COM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. UPTEXTIL.COM were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after Colombia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pontus Hjortberg took the corner. UPTEXTIL.COM's Pontus Hjortberg was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pedro Manzanares in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 67th minute Pontus Hjortberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Cazalla to maneuver through the defense. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. The supporters of UPTEXTIL.COM booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Cazalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. The UPTEXTIL.COM players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
