Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jorge Errando made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The corner led Ecuador's Agustín Saelices to fire away a dangerous shot which Jorge Errando despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 36th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Sancho to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jorge Errando was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After having played for 43 minutes, Caner Parshan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KIRICOCHO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Caner Parshan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lázaro Galsino in the 46th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Caner Parshan came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The KIRICOCHO FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-2.

Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lázaro Galsino in the 51st minute of play. In the 52ndth minute of the game Facundo Torres who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Facundo Torres in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 61 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Isaiah Jesus came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 64th minute of play forced KIRICOCHO FC's goalkeeper Jorge Errando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ernesto Theodore blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. Jorge Errando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 69th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lázaro Galsino in the 72nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Arias to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Facundo Torres's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Errando having to interfere. KIRICOCHO FC's Jorge Errando proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save KIRICOCHO FC from getting a goal against them.
