Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tomas Illescas got the match started through his kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Denis Calvino saved Atlético Villa Gesell from getting behind. Cornelio Ixidor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Paulo Rudolfo was slow to take the kick. During this time Atlético Villa Gesell's players had a chance to rest. In the 20th minute, Atlético Villa Gesell's Paulo Rudolfo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 23rd minute, Jonathan Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the match, Dario Bingen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dario Bingen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Cornelio Ixidor tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 34th minute, Benjamin Sal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. After 45 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. Denis Calvino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dario Bingen made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Atlético Villa Gesell's Cornelio Ixidor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 55th minute Dario Bingen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Tomas Illescas hit a great ball. 66 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Cornelio Ixidor came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Cornelio Ixidor notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eriberto Aztore scored 5-0 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Atlético Villa Gesell made a substitution. Donato Benino replaced Paulo Rudolfo. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dario Bingen in the 76th minute of the match. After 79 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. Atlético Villa Gesell made a substitution. Aldo Francis replaced Eriberto Aztore. Atlético Villa Gesell's Maximino Peyo was substituted for Gaston Jerardo. Tomas Illescas hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Patricio Costa's late challenge caught a Atlético Villa Gesell's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patricio Costa helped the player get up and apologised. Benjamin Sal kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Aldo Francis got a throw-in 92 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Donato Benino. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Benino in the 93rd minute of play.
