Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jeremias Peixoto made the kick off which started today's match. 2 minutes into the game, Jeremias Peixoto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Floresta Club U18's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. After a rather tough play, Floresta Club U18's Jeremias Peixoto got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Maurício Araújo came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Honduras's Edmundo Espiga. But to his dismay, Edmundo Espiga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Floresta Club U18's attentive Hudson de Souza managed to snatch the ball when Christian Sancho made a throw-in in the 12th minute of the game. The Honduras fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when Honduras's Edmundo Espiga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Maurício Araújo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Lautaro Navarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jeremias Peixoto in the 18th minute. Jardel da Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Honduras fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Honduras's Edmundo Espiga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Floresta Club U18's zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maurício Araújo came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maurício Araújo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 33rd minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurício Araújo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 35th minute of play forced Floresta Club U18's goalkeeper Maurício Araújo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, Edmundo Espiga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maurício Araújo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Emanuel Ocampo got a free kick in the 39th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Floresta Club U18's zone, Sebastian Villa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maurício Araújo came out of the goal and Sebastian Villa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 42 minutes into the match, Floresta Club U18's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Maurício Araújo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastian Villa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Floresta Club U18 defense, Luca Espinar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maurício Araújo. The Floresta Club U18 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maurício Araújo should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmundo Espiga to make the kick off. Maurício Araújo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 53rd minute of play. Edmundo Espiga received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Maurício Araújo came out and tried to block the shot, but Edmundo Espiga slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 55th minute. Edmundo Espiga had several of the Floresta Club U18's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 58 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-8 score and a disappointed Maurício Araújo as he didn't even see the shot coming. Edmundo Espiga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Maurício Araújo made a huge save. 64 minutes into the game, Luca Espinar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Maurício Araújo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Maurício Araújo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Villa in the 70th minute of play. A hard shot 71 in the game by Edmundo Espiga from a close distance when the talented Maurício Araújo managed to make a qualified save. Floresta Club U18's players were relieved. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Floresta Club U18's goalie prevented a goal. Maurício Araújo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Floresta Club U18's Maurício Araújo got control of the ball when Edmundo Espiga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Maurício Araújo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 77th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Floresta Club U18's zone, Luca Espinar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maurício Araújo came out of the goal and Luca Espinar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 79 minutes into the game, Edmundo Espiga lined in a short shot 0-10 behind a frustrated Maurício Araújo. In the 84th minute, Honduras's Luca Espinar ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Maurício Araújo. Maurício Araújo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-11. In the 88th minute, Honduras's Ivan Navarro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Maurício Araújo. Maurício Araújo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-12. Maurício Araújo was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Edmundo Espiga capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edmundo Espiga really showed his touch with that goal: 0-13. Maurício Araújo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Honduras played a much better game than Floresta Club U18 and deserved their victory. The Floresta Club U18 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
