Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Daniel Zorita made the kick off which started today's match. Guandacol FC's Leszek Mojsiewicz got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leszek Mojsiewicz in the 15th minute. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Guandacol FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Guandacol FC's Sebastian Torrico did a great save. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Leszek Mojsiewicz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Leszek Mojsiewicz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Leszek Mojsiewicz sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Primitivo Andino hit a great ball. Guandacol FC made a substitution. Benito Giraldo replaced Antonio Porcu. After 48 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Andino. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Honorio Maurin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Leszek Mojsiewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guandacol FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leszek Mojsiewicz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 59th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Torrico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 63rd minute, Primitivo Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Honorio Maurin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 69th minute, Leszek Mojsiewicz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Primitivo Andino made in the 72nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Guandacol FC's Ariel Lop. In the 76th minute Leszek Mojsiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leszek Mojsiewicz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Guandacol FC's Leszek Mojsiewicz. But to his dismay, Leszek Mojsiewicz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Guandacol FC made a substitution. Godofredo Arixo replaced Leszek Mojsiewicz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godofredo Arixo in the 82nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Everardo Cordero was slow to take the kick. During this time Guandacol FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Guandacol FC's Everardo Cordero to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godofredo Arixo in the 89th minute of the match. After having played for 90 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Godofredo Arixo in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Guandacol FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
