Hugon Piechna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milagros Fraga, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. It was a well-played corner which Milagros Fraga managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Zachariasz Jaszyna kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Hugon Piechna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luz Tejedor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Peru's corner Alonso Berganza fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hugon Piechna quite easily take care of the ball. In the 20th minute Roch Konieczny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, Witomir Piekarczyk threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Alonso Berganza quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 24 minutes into the match, NieETIkalni Lebork's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Hugon Piechna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roch Konieczny might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Noboa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roch Konieczny ran back to his position shaking his head. Julian Murillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugon Piechna having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hugon Piechna saved NieETIkalni Lebork from getting behind. In the 41st minute Roch Konieczny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hugon Piechna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 42nd minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, NieETIkalni Lebork's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Hugon Piechna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Hieronim Watarz made the kick off in the second half. Hugon Piechna stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Murillo's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radowit Sala in the 56th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Milagros Fraga got free with Hugon Piechna in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Rocco Chatigny fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NieETIkalni Lebork's protests and gave Rocco Chatigny a yellow card for diving instead. In the 63rd minute, Rocco Chatigny hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eliseo Mina hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute, Peru's Julian Murillo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. 82 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Hieronim Watarz came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Hugon Piechna in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Peru booed when NieETIkalni Lebork was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmundo Pombal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. In the 92nd minute, Edmundo Pombal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Peru eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
