Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) EAU FC's Otsando Llantaron started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Joshua Curbelo kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Moises Fernandino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 11 minutes, Abram Luque mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Salvador and the EAU FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Otsando Llantaron struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Ricardo Zorita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EAU FC. In the 17th minute Celedonio Paio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Baltasar Miro came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 23 minutes, Moises Fernandino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Salvador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moises Fernandino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celedonio Paio in the 27th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moises Fernandino got free with Humberto Theobald in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otsando Llantaron in the 32nd minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute Otsando Llantaron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute EAU FC were awarded a corner. Ricardo Senio went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Otsando Llantaron got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-1. 36 minutes into the match. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celedonio Paio in the 39th minute of the match. When Abram Luque was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 43 minutes had been played. Abram Luque kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The El Salvador players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. EAU FC were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Moises Fernandino was the one to do the kick off. Celedonio Paio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. Celedonio Paio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Valentino Ferrant hit a great ball. When Celedonio Paio came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the EAU FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celedonio Paio couldn't finish the play. Ricardo Zorita was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Celedonio Paio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 64 minute of play. Otsando Llantaron was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 69th minute. EAU FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Jorge Magrina got a free kick in the 75th minute. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otsando Llantaron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baltasar Miro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricardo Zorita read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Otsando Llantaron managed to get in a good position for a shot. EAU FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Otsando Llantaron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Zorita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Mateo Leguizamo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. EAU FC's Baltasar Miro got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match was over EAU FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than El Salvador throughout the match.
