Unidad de Matanza's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Martin Grøtterud in the 6th minute. Martin Grøtterud made a great header on Unidad de Matanza's corner, it was just that USA's Marco Day managed to reach the ball for a save. After 10 minutes USA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Martin Grøtterud who took care of the corner kick. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michal Stehno in the 12th minute of play. Monty Rogers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Jonatan Eguzki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of USA booed when Unidad de Matanza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josef Krumbacher didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonatan Eguzki was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Cassius Byrne. The supporters of USA booed when Unidad de Matanza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Zemeckis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute, Cassius Byrne sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Unidad de Matanza's Jonatan Eguzki didn't even have to move. Jonatan Eguzki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Jonatan Eguzki came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by USA's Cassius Byrne. But to his dismay, Cassius Byrne quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind USA's goalkeeper Marco Day, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Unidad de Matanza's Jonatan Eguzki got control of the ball when Cassius Byrne tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 42nd match minute, Unidad de Matanza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldemar Okopny to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 46 in the game by Cassius Byrne from a close distance when the talented Jonatan Eguzki managed to make a qualified save. Unidad de Matanza's players were relieved. Jonatan Eguzki stood somewhat misplaced when Cassius Byrne came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 46 minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cassius Byrne was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Unidad de Matanza's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Jonatan Eguzki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonatan Eguzki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 55th minute of play. When Michal Stehno came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Unidad de Matanza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michal Stehno couldn't finish the play. In the 59th minute Máximo Kirchner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonatan Eguzki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 63 minutes into the match, Monty Rogers notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Unidad de Matanza's Jonatan Eguzki. Jonatan Eguzki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Unidad de Matanza's Nestor Bâru was substituted for Martin Grøtterud. Monty Rogers struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Jonatan Eguzki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for USA. In the 75th minute Sam Campbell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Eguzki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. USA made a substitution. In the 77th match minute, Unidad de Matanza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lenni Skensved to maneuver through the defense. Jonatan Eguzki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Khalid Parry, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 84th minute, Nestor Bâru left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Unidad de Matanza fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. When Nestor Bâru came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Unidad de Matanza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nestor Bâru couldn't finish the play. Jonatan Eguzki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Khalid Parry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Bâru came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
