But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boudewijn Decoster couldn't finish the play. Edmundo Espiga in the 15thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of 李斐昂, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, 李斐昂 successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Esteban Carvallo hit a great ball. 李斐昂 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 24th minute. 傅森岩 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Boudewijn Decoster's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lautaro Navarro was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. 李斐昂 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Villa in the 31st minute. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edmundo Espiga was the one to do the kick off. 宋景渊 hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Lautaro Navarro was a little too slow when 傅森岩 got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 0-2. A sloppy throw-in by 白宁辉 in the 63rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Valentín Carvallo. 傅森岩's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Lautaro Navarro firmly grabbed it by the left post. Thanks to some nice moves 傅森岩 could shoot a difficult shot in the 68th minute, which Lautaro Navarro however easily saved by the left post. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Honduras from getting a goal against them. If Boudewijn Decoster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edmundo Espiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 李斐昂 having to interfere. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, 傅森岩 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. Honduras's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Boudewijn Decoster scored to the left of an out of position Lautaro Navarro, making the score, 0-4. 84 minutes into the match, 泾县Red-Star FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but 李斐昂 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boudewijn Decoster in the 85th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute of the match 泾县Red-Star FC got a corner. Honduras's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. 白宁辉 ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in 白宁辉 almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Honduras's Lautaro Navarro did a great save. 91 minutes into the game, 傅森岩 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 泾县Red-Star FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
