An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 8th minute of play forced Teɱperłey Cɨŧy's goalkeeper Artemio Salvino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, Joel Gaona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Teɱperłey Cɨŧy's Artemio Salvino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 15th minute of play. Mexico's Joel Gaona got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 23rd match minute, Teɱperłey Cɨŧy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustacio Aires to maneuver through the defense. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Luzaide, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 33 minutes into the game, Alberto Tafalla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Artemio Salvino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 36th play minute Alberto Tafalla came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Artemio Salvino. 2-0. Artemio Salvino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Zorita in the 42nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Teɱperłey Cɨŧy's Artemio Salvino got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Luca Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Artemio Salvino was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Gaona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artemio Salvino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alberto Tafalla scored 4-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Artemio Salvino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 76 minutes of play, Mexico's Joel Gaona made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Artemio Salvino was left in no man's land by his defense there! Artemio Salvino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 80th minute, Alberto Tafalla made a precise shot to the right of Artemio Salvino. Teɱperłey Cɨŧy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Mexico fully deserved thier win.
