The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 4th minute of play forced ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's goalkeeper Xie Bang Ang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. USA's Marco Day proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save USA from getting a goal against them. 8 minutes into the game, Guaberto Matro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marco Day. Guaberto Matro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 17 minutes into the match, ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Xie Bang Ang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robert Haegg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marco Day came out and tried to block the shot, but Robert Haegg slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 19th minute. A collision led to ARedonditos de Ricota CFK getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Guaberto Matro hit a great ball. In the 25th minute, Hüseyin Rahmi Vechi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Cassius Byrne came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the USA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cassius Byrne couldn't finish the play. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guaberto Matro in the 32nd minute of the match. Xie Bang Ang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Xie Bang Ang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 40th minute of play. Robert Haegg might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marco Day. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robert Haegg ran back to his position shaking his head. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Xie Bang Ang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassius Byrne in the 43rd minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Robert Haegg made the kick off in the second half. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Robert Haegg got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 53rd minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xie Bang Ang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xie Bang Ang was a little too slow when Monty Rogers got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 2-1. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Florentino Berasko was substituted for Robert Haegg. In the 65th minute, Clemente Beltran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. After 67 played minutes ARedonditos de Ricota CFK got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Beltran. Sam Campbell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Xie Bang Ang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Mcdonald in the 72nd minute of play. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Gonzales in the 74th minute of play. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. In the 76th match minute, ARedonditos de Ricota CFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toto Monti to maneuver through the defense. Xie Bang Ang made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Sam Campbell sent off a good shot on target. After 89 played minutes USA got a freekick which was hit by Khalid Parry. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Beltran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute ARedonditos de Ricota CFK were awarded a corner. Benjy Muller went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's corner Clemente Beltran fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marco Day quite easily take care of the ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK were victorious despite being under pressure from USA for much of the match.
