In the 20th minute, Robert Haegg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Robert Haegg made the kick off in the second half. Xie Bang Ang made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Axel Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Robert Haegg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Florentino Berasko was substituted for Robert Haegg. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK made a substitution. Clemente Beltran replaced Guaberto Matro. In the 70th minute Florentino Berasko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xie Bang Ang was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-2. 92 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Gonzales came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 95 minutes into the game, Santino Seco recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Xie Bang Ang. Santino Seco showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 7-3. For all the effort they put into the match, the Colombia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for ARedonditos de Ricota CFK.
