In the 9th minute, Remo da Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 11 minutes, Douglas de Souza made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 15th minute, Douglas de Souza made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomé Reis in the 18th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 23 minutes, Gilmar Castro made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Léo de Brito made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Moises Fernandino sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Luis Rubio got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 34th minute, Gilmar Castro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 36th minute Gilmar Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Floresta Club U18's Douglas de Souza in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Salvador's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas de Souza in the 40th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Jesus Carvallo hit a great ball. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomé Reis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 48th minute, Douglas de Souza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Floresta Club U18 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Moises Fernandino made a kick off. Tomé Reis scored 0-9 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardo Zorita, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 63 minutes, Moises Fernandino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Salvador and the Floresta Club U18 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 63rd match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Fernandino to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilmar Castro in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricardo Zorita saved El Salvador from getting behind. 68 minutes into the game, Floresta Club U18's Gilmar Castro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardo Zorita made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-10. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomé Reis got free with Ricardo Zorita in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Luis Rubio got a free kick in the 74th minute. Floresta Club U18's Ruy da Rocha shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 76th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ricardo Zorita but with some difficulty. 78 minutes into the game, Douglas de Souza lined in a short shot 0-11 behind a frustrated Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vito Maia in the 82nd minute of play. Ricardo Zorita made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Douglas de Souza sent off a good shot on target. Vito Maia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Ricardo Zorita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Floresta Club U18's Tomé Reis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ricardo Zorita. That made the score 0-12 after 89 minutes of play. If Douglas de Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Floresta Club U18's Remo da Rocha got a free kick in the 96th minute. Moises Fernandino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 99th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
