Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henrique Almeida in the 9th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Primitivo Andino during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Primitivo Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. When Maurício Bittencourt came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the AnÐaRaHy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maurício Bittencourt couldn't finish the play. 17 minutes into the match, Henrique Almeida had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Henrique Almeida was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After a rather tough play, AnÐaRaHy's Aírton Bastos got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 22nd minute, Durvalino Varela fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. With an all-out effort, AnÐaRaHy's Julio Vera threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Durvalino Varela, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Primitivo Andino hit a great ball. After 26 minutes, Maurício Bittencourt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AnÐaRaHy and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrique Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruno Cruz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Cruz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Henrique Almeida struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AnÐaRaHy. After having played for 53 minutes, Henrique Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AnÐaRaHy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henrique Almeida was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aírton Bastos hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 61 minutes into the match, AnÐaRaHy's goalkeeper Bruno Cruz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Daniel Zorita slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bruno Cruz. That made the score 1-3 after 61 minutes of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Henrique Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot. AnÐaRaHy's supporters rose to their feet, but Henrique Almeida was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Bruno Cruz in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Henrique Almeida's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Henrique Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, AnÐaRaHy's Bruno Cruz got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 75th minute Henrique Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, Daniel Zorita reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bruno Cruz. The goal made the score 1-4. Henrique Almeida's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Adrian Sundström was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The supporters of AnÐaRaHy booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, AnÐaRaHy's Bruno Cruz got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bruno Cruz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrique Almeida in the 95th minute of play. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Bruno Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
