Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gualter Pitta started the match with the kick off. Fabrizio Gaudino scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thiago Pliego, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisão Linares in the 7th minute of play. The supporters of Chile booed when Pereiras FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hélder Custódio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute of the match, Mariano Lacasa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Téo Silva saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 10 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Téo Silva. Pereiras FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Lacasa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Luisão Linares hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Téo Silva in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 21st minute, Mariano Lacasa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chile fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The supporters of Chile booed when Pereiras FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tekin Ergalip didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chile's Xavier Figueroa got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 34 minutes of play, Chile's Mariano Lacasa made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Téo Silva was left in no man's land by his defense there! Orlando Casaus might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Téo Silva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Orlando Casaus ran back to his position shaking his head. Orlando Casaus hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Mariano Lacasa made the kick off in the second half. Téo Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 53rd minute of play. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Téo Silva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisão Linares, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Pereiras FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Téo Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tekin Ergalip hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute, Tekin Ergalip hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the game, Chile's Mariano Lacasa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Téo Silva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Pereiras FC's Daniel Maia was substituted for Gualter Pitta. In the 71st match minute, Pereiras FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cido de Andrade to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 72 minutes, Xavier Figueroa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chile's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xavier Figueroa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Téo Silva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. Téo Silva came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Mariano Lacasa. But to his dismay, Mariano Lacasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Téo Silva read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Téo Silva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Téo Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 92nd minute of play. Orlando Casaus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
