Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Walter Siggman came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Samyang Ramen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Walter Siggman couldn't finish the play. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Wållander having to interfere. Alex Wållander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alex Wållander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 19th minute of the match. In the 21st minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Wållander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alex Wållander was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Alex Wållander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 32nd minute of play. After 33 minutes Samyang Ramen's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Walter Siggman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 45th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Arias to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabrizio Ravanelli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Göran Nordgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Samyang Ramen's Sam Yang was substituted for Fabrizio Ravanelli. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans-Jürgen Nudelman in the 58th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Hans-Jürgen Nudelman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Samyang Ramen made a substitution. Bo-Erik Apelkvist replaced Walter Siggman. In the 69th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alex Wållander quite easily take care of the ball. Alex Wållander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 70th minute of the match. After having played for 72 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Samyang Ramen's Ragnar Rudqvist was substituted for Jon Kaxe. Alex Wållander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 75th minute. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans-Jürgen Nudelman, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Alex Wållander in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Göran Nordgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Samyang Ramen's Alex Wållander got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hans-Jürgen Nudelman kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Alex Wållander. Samyang Ramen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Ecuador played a much better game than Samyang Ramen and deserved their victory. The Samyang Ramen players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
