Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Costa Rica's Axel Tasis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7thth minute of the game Axel Tasis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Floresta Club U18's Maurício Araújo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Axel Tasis kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 13thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Floresta Club U18's keeper Maurício Araújo was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Costa Rica's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Axel Tasis in the 14th minute. After 19 minutes, Axel Tasis made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Floresta Club U18's Maurício Araújo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 22 minutes into the game, Hugo Ferrant threw the ball into play from the sideline. Floresta Club U18's Cafu Tinoco quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Lautaro Puig struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Maurício Araújo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica. João Francisco Sampaio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Floresta Club U18's Agnaldo Vaz managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hugo Ferrant in the 30 minute of the game. In the 31st minute, Axel Tasis fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Axel Tasis sped through Floresta Club U18's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Maurício Araújo. The throw-in from Hugo Ferrant in the 35th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Floresta Club U18's Agnaldo Vaz. 41 minutes into the game, Abel Carballo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Floresta Club U18's Hudson de Souza quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Floresta Club U18's Maurício Araújo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Tasis in the 44th minute of play. After some careless play in the Floresta Club U18 defense, Lautaro Puig kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maurício Araújo. The Floresta Club U18 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maurício Araújo should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The throw-in from Hugo Ferrant in the 54th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Floresta Club U18's Cafu Tinoco. Maurício Araújo came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig. But to his dismay, Lautaro Puig quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Jeremias Peixoto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The throw-in from Hugo Ferrant in the 62nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Floresta Club U18's Cafu Tinoco. 64 minutes into the game, Efrain Moruga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Floresta Club U18 the free kick. Efrain Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Hugo Ferrant made in the 67th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Juan Rubio immediately put the ball in play. Floresta Club U18's Cafu Tinoco quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Hugo Ferrant, made in the 70th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Tasis in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maurício Araújo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Floresta Club U18 defense, Lautaro Puig kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maurício Araújo. The Floresta Club U18 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maurício Araújo should have stopped the shot. Floresta Club U18's Maurício Araújo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Puig in the 79th minute of play. When Lautaro Puig fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Lautaro Puig a yellow card for diving instead. After 80 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Puig. Juan Rubio made in the 82nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Floresta Club U18's Agnaldo Vaz. A sloppy throw-in by Abel Carballo in the 83rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Floresta Club U18's Hudson de Souza. Floresta Club U18's attentive Agnaldo Vaz managed to snatch the ball when Hugo Ferrant made a throw-in in the 85th minute of the game. The throw-in from Efrain Moruga in the 88th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Floresta Club U18's Hudson de Souza. The throw-in from Lautaro Puig in the 90th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Floresta Club U18's Cafu Tinoco. Efrain Moruga made in the 93rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Aaron Alcocer immediately put the ball in play. Costa Rica's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
