Marcelino Flor made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Cassius Byrne sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 92 minutes, Marco Day successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ovidio Marin succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-3 in the 92nd playminute. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. The ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
