Uwe Septinius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 13th minute, Joel Gaona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Uwe Septinius was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 16th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uwe Septinius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Los Liquisue FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Uwe Septinius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Uwe Septinius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 20th minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Uwe Septinius firmly grabbed it by the left post. 29 minutes into the match, Los Liquisue FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Uwe Septinius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Uwe Septinius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. With a little luck, Los Liquisue FC's Uwe Septinius got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Zorita in the 33rd minute of play forced Los Liquisue FC's goalkeeper Uwe Septinius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uwe Septinius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Uwe Septinius was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alberto Tafalla showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 47 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Alberto Tafalla took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Uwe Septinius. Uwe Septinius dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Grigoris Berzovitis hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Los Liquisue FC's Uwe Septinius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 64th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Uwe Septinius. Los Liquisue FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Tafalla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. In the 71st minute Luca Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uwe Septinius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the game, Alberto Tafalla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Uwe Septinius was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 81st minute, Alberto Tafalla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Uwe Septinius was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Uwe Septinius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Mexico fully deserved thier win.
