Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Francisco Seco took the kick off in the first half of the match. When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Alfred Pawelczyk sped through Uruguay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Cura del Futbol's Eriberto Erlantz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Seco in the 7th minute of play. Eriberto Erlantz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Gisbert in the 8th minute of play. 9 minutes into the game, Maximiliano Escribano recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eriberto Erlantz. Maximiliano Escribano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. The audience was convinced that Alfred Pawelczyk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. After 15 minutes Uruguay's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zacarias Balon who took care of the corner kick. Zacarias Balon made a great header on Cura del Futbol's corner, it was just that Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 18th minute Alfred Pawelczyk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Arturo Carvallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arturo Carvallo kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Alfred Pawelczyk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cura del Futbol's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfred Pawelczyk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Gayoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Cura del Futbol's Raul Abadia got a free kick in the 35th minute. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred Pawelczyk in the 36th minute of play. Cura del Futbol's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zacarias Balon in the 38th minute. After taking down the ball on Cura del Futbol's corner Zacarias Balon fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Joaquin Gayoso quite easily take care of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfred Pawelczyk in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carlos Gonzalez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfred Pawelczyk made a kick off. Alfred Pawelczyk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joaquin Gayoso having to make a save. Joaquin Gayoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfred Pawelczyk in the 55th minute. The supporters of Cura del Futbol booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Carvallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Cura del Futbol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raul Abadia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Corderun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes into the game, Froilan Fresco recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Joaquin Gayoso. Froilan Fresco showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Froilan Fresco hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. If Arnaldo Corderun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arnaldo Corderun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Joaquin Gayoso made a huge save. Arnaldo Corderun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquin Gayoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Bonifacio Loramendi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cura del Futbol's supporters rose to their feet, but Bonifacio Loramendi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Gayoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Cura del Futbol supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cura del Futbol would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
