Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anier Colas in the 4th minute of play. 6 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joga Bonito was slow to take the kick. During this time ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ's players had a chance to rest. Baldomero Sugoi took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joga Bonito in the 14th minute. Julio Vera was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Anier Colas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 22 minute of play. Julio Vera was a little too slow when Anier Colas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 3-0. In the 28th minute, Wieslaw Drzewucki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute Baldomero Sugoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomero Sugoi came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ's Baldomero Sugoi in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 36th minute of play forced ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ's goalkeeper Godfredo Bento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Godfredo Bento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baldomero Sugoi hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

If Baldomero Sugoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joga Bonito hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ's Godfredo Bento did a great save. Cristian Sancho was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 58th minute. Ecuador's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anier Colas, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ's Fidel Ovando was substituted for Ismael Luix. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Godfredo Bento made a huge save. In the 69th minute, Cristian Sancho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ's Raul Senon was substituted for Paulo Domingues. The corner led ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ's Joga Bonito to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cosme Bembe's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. The ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
