Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Carlos Bartolome started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Gilberto Aztore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 8th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Aztore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Bartolome in the 10th minute. Gilberto Aztore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 13th minute of play forced Cura del Futbol's goalkeeper Gilberto Aztore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilberto Aztore didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Patricio Costa went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Carolo Chus, made in the 20th minute of the game. Gilberto Aztore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 21st minute of play. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Cura del Futbol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Ascencio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Illescas took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gilberto Aztore. Gilberto Aztore dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilberto Aztore saved Cura del Futbol from getting behind. 35 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gilberto Aztore narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gilberto Aztore stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. When Ernesto Ascencio fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cura del Futbol's protests and gave Ernesto Ascencio a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Cura del Futbol's Ernesto Ascencio got a free kick in the 39th minute. Roberto Ocampo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Gilberto Aztore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Tomas Illescas came free with the goalkeeper in the 51st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gilberto Aztore could save by the left post. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cura del Futbol's goalie prevented a goal. Venezuela's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomas Illescas in the 54th minute. After 55 minutes, Carolo Chus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cura del Futbol and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 55th minute, Carolo Chus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Gilberto Aztore made a huge save. In the 58th minute, Tomas Illescas made a precise shot to the right of Gilberto Aztore. Cura del Futbol's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. The throw-in from Salvador Gisbert in the 61st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Cura del Futbol's Ernesto Ascencio. Gilberto Aztore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 65th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. After 70 minutes of play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gilberto Aztore was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Cura del Futbol's Gilberto Aztore got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Aztore having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Tomas Illescas put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Gilberto Aztore. The referee felt a red card was in order, 82 minutes into the game, when Marcial Stephen put in a rough tackle. In the 82nd minute, one of Cura del Futbol:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cura del Futbol. Gilberto Aztore went to the wrong direction when Tomas Illescas was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Aztore having to interfere. Gilberto Aztore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. When the final whistle sounded Venezuela left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cura del Futbol.
