Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ceferino Reyes in the 20th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Ceferino Reyes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ceferino Reyes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 26 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Tony Jonsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Tony Jonsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tony Jonsson got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ceferino Reyes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute, Eduardo Lledias reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 2-0. The supporters of Venezuela booed when extreme fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Aranzabal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. 61 minutes into the game, extreme fc's Ceferino Reyes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. extreme fc's Eduardo Lledias got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 67 minutes into the match, Carmelo Hiriart notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. extreme fc's Bienvenido Zapata proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save extreme fc from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Bienvenido Zapata in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 85th minute, Eduardo Lledias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
