Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Sportivo Chupeño's Endura Abechuco started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Endura Abechuco sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. 7 minutes into the match, Endura Abechuco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Endura Abechuco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 12th match minute, Sportivo Chupeño was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faro Abecia to maneuver through the defense. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduard De Fretes in the 16th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Endura Abechuco in the 18th minute of play. When Endura Abechuco came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Sportivo Chupeño fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Endura Abechuco couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduard De Fretes in the 20th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Endura Abechuco, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Michel Abadie charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Michel Abadie the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Sportivo Chupeño was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michel Abadie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduard De Fretes, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 25 minutes into the game, Jose Correa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sportivo Chupeño the free kick. The supporters of Sportivo Chupeño booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eduard De Fretes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eduard De Fretes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduard De Fretes, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Francis Stuart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Endura Abechuco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Endura Abechuco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. The Sportivo Chupeño fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when Sportivo Chupeño's Eduard De Fretes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Eduard De Fretes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 63 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guillermo Mariano during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Sportivo Chupeño booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michel Abadie. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eduard De Fretes's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. In the 69th minute, Sportivo Chupeño's Endura Abechuco dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. A hard shot 73 in the game by Eduard De Fretes from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. In the 75th minute Endura Abechuco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Michel Abadie was slow to take the kick. During this time Sportivo Chupeño's players had a chance to rest. In the 87th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aytek Subahi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Sportivo Chupeño played a much better game than Venezuela and deserved their victory. The Venezuela players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
