The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Francisco Seco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eriberto Erlantz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 52nd minute. The supporters of Cura del Futbol booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. If Maximiliano Escribano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
