Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Hunor Adam scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 13 minutes into the match, Bandeca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Guaberto Gamus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Guaberto Gamus made a huge save. 17 minutes into the game, Bandeca FC's Igor Mota nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Igor Mota received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guaberto Gamus was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Daniel Zorita capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Zorita really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. In the 30th minute, Daniel Zorita reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Guaberto Gamus. The goal made the score 2-2. Guaberto Gamus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 35th minute of the match. Antonio Arias who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Guaberto Gamus when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Vito Montenegro hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 41st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Bandeca FC. 48 minutes into the match, Bandeca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Guaberto Gamus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guaberto Gamus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 59th minute. Luis Andino was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Igor Mota's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Bandeca FC's Hunor Adam got a free kick in the 64th minute. After 64 minutes, Waldir Marquez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bandeca FC and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Bandeca FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldir Marquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guaberto Gamus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 74th minute of play forced Bandeca FC's goalkeeper Guaberto Gamus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bandeca FC made a substitution. Rui Gaspar replaced Igor Mota. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 80 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. Bandeca FC's Luiz Fabiano Cearense shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 81st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Julio Vera but with some difficulty. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guaberto Gamus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 84th minute of play. Guaberto Gamus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sancho's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. In the 88th minute, Rui Gaspar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Gaspar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
