Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Deivid Lira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 16th minute of play. Deivid Lira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jose Correa during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Red Chicken Football booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Deivid Lira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. After 29 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. In the 30th minute of the match Tião Salles sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Red Chicken Football's Dagoberto Quadros got a free kick in the 35th minute. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 41 minutes into the game, when Maurício Tavares put in a rough tackle.

In the 50th match minute, Red Chicken Football was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allan Marinho to maneuver through the defense. Kléber Arce kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 61stth minute, Deivid Lira skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. The Red Chicken Football fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Venezuela were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
