Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Odol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felipe Odol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 6th minute of the match. The corner led Mexico's Luca Rouco to fire away a dangerous shot which Felipe Odol despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Alberto Tafalla struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Felipe Odol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severiano Ugutz in the 20th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute Nemesio Ignatius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felipe Odol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severiano Ugutz in the 39th minute of the match. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Odol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the game, Joel Gaona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Felipe Odol was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

Lugano 1 y 2's Felipe Odol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Lugano 1 y 2 from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Luca Zorita got a free kick in the 57th minute. Felipe Odol made an important save on a dangerous shot by Facundo Cadaval in the 60th minute. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Felipe Odol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lugano 1 y 2's Felipe Odol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Lugano 1 y 2 from getting a goal against them. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Felipe Odol made a huge save. Nemesio Ignatius charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nemesio Ignatius the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 69th minute, Nemesio Ignatius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 70 minutes into the match, Lugano 1 y 2's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Felipe Odol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Lugano 1 y 2's Dalmacio Valente got a free kick in the 71st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Felipe Odol in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 74th minute, Dalmacio Valente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 81 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Felix Luque. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Luca Zorita hit a great ball. In the 86th minute, Joel Gaona fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Alberto Tafalla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Felipe Odol read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 89 minutes, Felipe Odol successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Alberto Tafalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Lautaro Mancebo fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mexico's protests and gave Lautaro Mancebo a yellow card for diving instead. After 96 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Mancebo.
