Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Berni Romeo made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 2nd match minute, Colonia Taranco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonzo Haritz to maneuver through the defense. Braulio Quilino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 3rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Berni Romeo got free with Rolando Noboa in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Berni Romeo might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Noboa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Berni Romeo ran back to his position shaking his head. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Berni Romeo sent off a good shot on target. In the 9th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braulio Quilino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute, one of Peru:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Peru. The goalkeeper, Rolando Noboa, was totally fooled by Colonia Taranco FC's Berni Romeo, who 11 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After a rather tough play, Colonia Taranco FC's Berni Romeo got a free kick in the 16th minute. Julian Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Braulio Quilino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Peru's Luz Tejedor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Braulio Quilino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 23 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Braulio Quilino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Braulio Quilino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute of the match Peru got a corner. Colonia Taranco FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. 29 minutes into the match, Colonia Taranco FC's Alonzo Haritz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Noboa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 30th minute of the match Colonia Taranco FC got a corner. Peru's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Per-Olof Pil ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Berni Romeo heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 32nd match minute, Colonia Taranco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Pacheco to maneuver through the defense. Braulio Quilino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. Roberto Pistauer made in the 36th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Rolando Noboa was a little too slow when Berni Romeo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 2-1. Braulio Quilino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 46th minute, Julian Murillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. Berni Romeo took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Colonia Taranco FC's Alfred Motowski was substituted for Fernando Pacheco. 67 minutes into the game, Peru's Julian Murillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Braulio Quilino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. Colonia Taranco FC's Roberto Pistauer quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alonso Berganza, made in the 72nd minute of the game. Braulio Quilino didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 76th minute, which inside left pole to 3-5. The crowd rose to their feet as Eliseo Mina kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Braulio Quilino. That made the score 3-6 in the 79 minute of play. Braulio Quilino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Mina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julian Murillo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Braulio Quilino came out and tried to block the shot, but Julian Murillo slotted it home off the left post making it 3-7 in the 85th minute. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leroy Sane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 93 minutes into the game, Colonia Taranco FC's Leroy Sane nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rolando Noboa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-7. The Colonia Taranco FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Peru's performance. The match ended with a win for Peru.
