The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Admon Jimenez during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Admon Jimenez hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 4th match minute, Bolivia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Gallo to maneuver through the defense. When Oro Villalon came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Berenjenas de Punto Fijo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oro Villalon couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's Barros Oliver got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Mario Fernandino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillen Piñera having to interfere. The supporters of Berenjenas de Punto Fijo booed when Bolivia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benito Madrid didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ixidor Herquinigo in the 30th minute of play forced Bolivia's goalkeeper Camilo Freixa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Camilo Freixa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oro Villalon's shot from short distance in the 45th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mario Fernandino made a kick off. After 51 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Mario Fernandino. When Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's Oro Villalon in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bolivia's goalie prevented a goal. Camilo Freixa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oro Villalon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benito Madrid was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 65 minutes into the match. 65 minutes into the game, one of Bolivia:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After having played for 77 minutes, Alfredo Ferrant managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bolivia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Ferrant was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's Guillen Piñera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Ferrant in the 79th minute of play. Oro Villalons short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Camilo Freixa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oro Villalon got free with Camilo Freixa in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's Rolado Guixe pulled a muscle in his back after 87 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Eduardo Fontirroig fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bolivia's protests and gave Eduardo Fontirroig a yellow card for diving instead. Berenjenas de Punto Fijo made a substitution. Miguel Gibaja replaced Rolado Guixe. After 91 played minutes Berenjenas de Punto Fijo got a freekick which was hit by Ramond Mascareñas. In the 96thth minute of the game Oro Villalon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bolivia's Camilo Freixa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oro Villalon in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Camilo Freixa prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
