The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee showed Evert Lanphant the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Matias Colebrants stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felix Montenegro's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. In the 33rd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Colebrants saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Luis Andino fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Matias Colebrants quite easily take care of the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Fc Rossem's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Matias Colebrants reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fc Rossem's Matias Colebrants played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 39th minute of play. Crispijn Deprez ran over to the corner to take the kick. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matias Colebrants having to interfere. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lou Cromefeldt in the 56th minute of the match. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tibo Cromefeldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fc Rossem's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Crispijn Deprez in the 62nd minute. Felix Vereect was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. With a little luck, Fc Rossem's Matias Colebrants got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 70th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Fc Rossem's Matias Colebrants proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Fc Rossem from getting a goal against them. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Matias Colebrants tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lou Cromefeldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lou Cromefeldt in the 79th minute of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tibo Cromefeldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute.
