Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filip Felenak made a kick off. Mexico's Joel Gaona got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Facundo Cadaval charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luca Rouco in the 71st managed to get into a good position. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Mancebo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Red Dragon FC - DMZ booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Leoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopold Davus, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Joel Gaona showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Mexico played a much better game than Red Dragon FC - DMZ and deserved their victory. The Red Dragon FC - DMZ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
