The referee ignored Jägermeister FC's protests and gave Luiz Fernando França a yellow card for diving instead. Marcos Cotilla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jägermeister FC. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Abraham Alguacil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michael Baba Bāba-Siltais didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Panama's Tomas Berganza shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. With 31 minutes on the clock, Luís Eduardo Abraão commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Jägermeister FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 30th minute. Penalty! In the 35th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Baba Bāba-Siltais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 46 minutes, Angelo de Carvalho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jägermeister FC and the Panama players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 46 played minutes Jägermeister FC got a freekick which was hit by Angelo de Carvalho. The Jägermeister FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Panama were winning 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Berganza to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Abraham Alguacil had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Michael Baba Bāba-Siltais. Jägermeister FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abraham Alguacil was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. In the 57th minute, José Paulo Gomes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st minute of the match, Matthew Garrido got a very nice opportunity to score, but Michael Baba Bāba-Siltais was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Michael Baba Bāba-Siltais made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 63rd minute. In the 64th minute Isidoro Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Baba Bāba-Siltais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by Jägermeister FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Abraham Alguacil was slow to take the kick. During this time Panama's players had a chance to rest. Isidoro Sarmiento made a great header on Panama's corner, it was just that Jägermeister FC's Michael Baba Bāba-Siltais managed to reach the ball for a save. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Jägermeister FC's Mateus Favoretto. But to his dismay, Mateus Favoretto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. In the 83rd minute, Isidoro Sarmiento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabrício Donato during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Panama booed when Jägermeister FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabrício Donato didn't get a good kick on the ball. Michael Baba Bāba-Siltais took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute of the match, Felipe Ros got a very nice opportunity to score, but Michael Baba Bāba-Siltais was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 90th minute, Mateus Favoretto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jägermeister FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-6. When Mateus Favoretto came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Jägermeister FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mateus Favoretto couldn't finish the play. When the match was over Panama could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Jägermeister FC throughout the match.
