After 3 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Mina. 5 minutes into the match, Chorche Viya notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Chorche Viya could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Chorche Viya succeeded in the game's 15th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. Isias Cembrana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Chorche Viya sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to La Vieja Guardia Jrs getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Chorche Viya hit a great ball. In the 27thth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Vieja Guardia Jrs's Apolo Chica was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Apolo Chica prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Chorche Viya managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Vieja Guardia Jrs's supporters rose to their feet, but Chorche Viya was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 31 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. The long shot by Alex Pedrera in the 33rd minute really tested Jonathan Ferrant's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Chorche Viya struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Vieja Guardia Jrs. In the 36th minute of the match, Alex Pedrera tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonathan Ferrant saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Chorche Viya's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Jonathan Ferrant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Chorche Viya sent off a good shot on target. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guillermo Mariano during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 57 minutes into the match, La Vieja Guardia Jrs's goalkeeper Apolo Chica had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. After a rather tough play, La Vieja Guardia Jrs's Calisto Requena got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 61st minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Chica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Pedrera in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th minute Alex Pedrera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Chorche Viya notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. La Vieja Guardia Jrs's Chorche Viya got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dunixi Cendan kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. La Vieja Guardia Jrs made a substitution. Maore Astiago replaced Isias Cembrana. If Chorche Viya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Pedrera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute, Patricio Costa fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Chorche Viya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dunixi Cendan hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Pedrera in the 89th minute of play. After 90 minutes of play, La Vieja Guardia Jrs's Alex Pedrera made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, La Vieja Guardia Jrs's Joshua Kimmich got a free kick in the 93rd minute.
