Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Hector Bladi got the match started through his kick off. A collision led to Big Babousa getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Lisandro Vigil hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 4th minute of play forced Big Babousa's goalkeeper Svetlozar Karamihov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 4thth minute of the game Agustín Saelices who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Big Babousa's Svetlozar Karamihov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Svetlozar Karamihov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. When Manos Tsakalidis came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Big Babousa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manos Tsakalidis couldn't finish the play. Svetlozar Karamihov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute of the match Odilon Bacete sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera skillfully saved the ball. Hector Bladi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Julio Vera skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The corner led Big Babousa's Manos Tsakalidis to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Hector Bladi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 27 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Svetlozar Karamihov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hector Bladi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. When Manos Tsakalidis came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Big Babousa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manos Tsakalidis couldn't finish the play. In the 41st minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Svetlozar Karamihov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hector Bladi during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 43rd match minute, Big Babousa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Bladi to maneuver through the defense. Claudio Millano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After 55 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. Lisandro Vigil hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Bladi in the 63rd minute of the match. Svetlozar Karamihov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 65th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Bladi in the 72nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Hector Bladi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Big Babousa's supporters rose to their feet, but Hector Bladi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ricardo-Enrique Bochini struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Big Babousa. Svetlozar Karamihov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 89th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Ricardo-Enrique Bochini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Ricardo-Enrique Bochini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 96 minutes into the match, Ricardo-Enrique Bochini notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Big Babousa support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
