In the 2nd match minute, Dragonf⮊rcE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Fernandes to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Barry Houghton got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 7 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Barry Houghton came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barry Houghton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Dragonf⮊rcE's zone, Axel Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zacarias Sesimbra came out of the goal and Axel Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 14th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Sesimbra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abram Sarmiento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Abram Sarmiento put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Zacarias Sesimbra. In the 31st minute of the match Dragonf⮊rcE got a corner. Colombia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Virgílio Coelho ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Virgílio Coelho got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pedro Manzanares quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 34th minute, Barry Houghton made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 39 minutes into the game, Luis Cazalla threw the ball into play from the sideline. Dragonf⮊rcE's Daniel Antunes quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Barry Houghton took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Barry Houghton to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Axel Montenegro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zacarias Sesimbra. Dragonf⮊rcE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Axel Montenegro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 56th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Sesimbra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zacarias Sesimbra was a little too slow when Axel Montenegro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 2-3. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Kevin Mastache hit a great ball. Dragonf⮊rcE's Ludo Tobbackers was substituted for Herman Dresselbjerg. Kevin Mastache kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Colombia were furious when Samuel Navarro was red carded, 65 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. After 64 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Colombia! Zacarias Sesimbra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 71st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 72nd minute of play forced Dragonf⮊rcE's goalkeeper Zacarias Sesimbra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dragonf⮊rcE's Karin Benzema was substituted for Barry Houghton. A throw-in in the 77th minute of the game was made by Luis Cazalla with Kevin Mastache as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. If Karin Benzema had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karin Benzema in the 79th minute of play. In the 81st minute Luis Cazalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Sesimbra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ludo Tobbackers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ignacio Mastache was extremely unlucky when he, in the 88th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Afonso Quadros hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Ignacio Mastache's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zacarias Sesimbra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ludo Tobbackers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Colombia's Zacarias Sesimbra threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ignacio Mastache, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karin Benzema in the 95th minute of play. When Ignacio Mastache came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Colombia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ignacio Mastache couldn't finish the play. Dragonf⮊rcE were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
