Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornelio Cesaro in the 58th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Xavier Figueroa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd match minute, Pan Queso y Leberbush FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ioseba Llorente to maneuver through the defense. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rafael Fix read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. In the 93rd minute Orlando Casaus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Fix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
