Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduard Hourani in the 6th minute of the match. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Efrain Moruga hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Lázaro Ekain stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Lázaro Ekain tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eduard Hourani in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduard Hourani in the 20th minute of play. Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lázaro Ekain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 37th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Moruga to maneuver through the defense. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduard Hourani, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Eduard Hourani succeeded in the game's 39th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

In the 52nd minute Lázaro Ekain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. When Eduard Hourani came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the GARIBALDI FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduard Hourani couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Lázaro Ekain's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Darío Eagles charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Darío Eagles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 57th minute, Darío Eagles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lautaro Puig blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rene Llorian having to make a save. After 63 minutes of play, GARIBALDI FC's Lázaro Ekain made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lázaro Ekain might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lázaro Ekain ran back to his position shaking his head. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Ekain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eduard Houranis short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Benito Sanz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Costa Rica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when Lázaro Ekain scored to the left of an out of position Benito Sanz, making the score, 0-4. GARIBALDI FC's Nicolas Eduino was substituted for Raul Transito. Costa Rica's Axel Tasis got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 86th minute of the game. One of GARIBALDI FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Costa Rica:s goal. Rene Llorian had in the 87thth minute some difficulties stopping Axel Tasis's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 87th minute, Axel Tasis made a precise shot to the right of Rene Llorian. GARIBALDI FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by GARIBALDI FC's Eduard Hourani. But to his dismay, Eduard Hourani quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Eduard Hourani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. The GARIBALDI FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
