Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Illescas took the kick off in the first half of the match. Roberto Pacheco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Roberto Pacheco scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Ahmet Turan Ayberk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute, Roberto Pacheco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Ahmet Turan Ayberk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ahmet Turan Ayberk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 24 minutes into the match, mar-azul's goalkeeper Estevão Lemos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Murilo Fernandes sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute of the match Ahmet Turan Ayberk sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant skillfully saved the ball. In the 34th minute, Roberto Pacheco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The mar-azul fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Ahmet Turan Ayberk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murilo Fernandes in the 41st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 42 minutes, Murilo Fernandes made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 45 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Pacheco came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half mar-azul were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Murilo Fernandes in the 54th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the match, mar-azul's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Estevão Lemos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roberto Pacheco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Estevão Lemos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Pacheco came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 62 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ahmet Turan Ayberk who took care of the corner kick. After 66 minutes of play, mar-azul's Murilo Fernandes made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Rigoberto Mina fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Rigoberto Mina a yellow card for diving instead. Jonathan Ferrant stood somewhat misplaced when Murilo Fernandes came free in front of goal and shot 0-9 to the left of him in the 71 minute. When mar-azul's Murilo Fernandes in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Murilo Fernandes in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Rigoberto Mina was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 78 minutes had been played. Rigoberto Mina kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Murilo Fernandes in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murilo Fernandes in the 84th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murilo Fernandes in the 91st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 93rd minute of play forced mar-azul's goalkeeper Estevão Lemos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Pacheco, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
