Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) When mar-azul's Murilo Fernandes in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. 9 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Estevão Lemos. mar-azul's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Estevão Lemos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Estevão Lemos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Luis Andino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Estevão Lemos having to make a save. Estevão Lemos came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 26 minutes into the match, Luis Andino notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of mar-azul's Estevão Lemos. Estevão Lemos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Estevão Lemos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 29th minute of play. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after mar-azul's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Estevão Lemos in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience was convinced that Luis Andino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Estevão Lemos was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. After 41 played minutes mar-azul got a freekick which was hit by Murilo Fernandes. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Estevão Lemos. Estevão Lemos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Luis Andino struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Estevão Lemos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. After 53 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Estevão Lemos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Estevão Lemos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 69 minutes into the match, mar-azul's Roberto Pacheco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Estevão Lemos was a little too slow when Daniel Zorita got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 0-7. 76 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Pacheco came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, mar-azul's Estevão Lemos got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. mar-azul's Roberto Pacheco got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
