Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Jägermeister FC booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lautaro Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 3 minutes, Angelo de Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jägermeister FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelo de Carvalho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 4 minutes into the game, Cássio Barreto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Angelo de Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateus Favoretto in the 28th minute of play. Luiz Fernando França hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the match, Jägermeister FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Noboa came free, but Michael Baba Bāba-Siltais reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 31 minutes, Mateus Favoretto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. One of Jägermeister FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Costa Rica:s goal. Jägermeister FC's Fabrício Donato got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd minute, Fabrício Donato ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1.

In the 52nd minute, Fabrício Donato got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alan Moruga during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a little luck, Jägermeister FC's Michael Baba Bāba-Siltais got control of the ball when Lautaro Puig tried to sneak it across the goal line. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Michael Baba Bāba-Siltais made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Lautaro Puig sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Alan Moruga hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Tasis got free with Michael Baba Bāba-Siltais in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
