Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Illescas took the kick off in the first half of the match. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Estevão Lemos having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 3rd minute of play forced mar-azul's goalkeeper Estevão Lemos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by mar-azul's Murilo Fernandes. But to his dismay, Murilo Fernandes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 15 minutes into the match, Murilo Fernandes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Murilo Fernandes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. 19 minutes into the game, Murilo Fernandes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Venezuela booed when mar-azul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adelino Palmeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 25 played minutes, mar-azul's Ahmet Turan Ayberk shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in mar-azul reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Estevão Lemos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 31st minute of the game Diogo Quinaz made a throw-in which Saúl Lage played forward. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Murilo Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot. mar-azul's supporters rose to their feet, but Murilo Fernandes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murilo Fernandes in the 36th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Roberto Pacheco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Roberto Pacheco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ahmet Turan Ayberk during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ahmet Turan Ayberk kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Murilo Fernandes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 45 minutes of play, mar-azul's Murilo Fernandes made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Murilo Fernandes made a kick off. Saúl Lage made in the 51st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Murilo Fernandes however managed to control. After a rather tough play, mar-azul's Diogo Quinaz got a free kick in the 59th minute. The audience was convinced that Roberto Pacheco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. 64 minutes into the match, Roberto Pacheco notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When mar-azul's Murilo Fernandes in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Venezuela booed when mar-azul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diogo Quinaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venezuela were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after mar-azul's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomas Illescas took the corner. In the 75th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Mina to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Pacheco in the 76th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 77 minutes into the match, mar-azul's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Estevão Lemos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Roberto Pacheco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to mar-azul getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Ahmet Turan Ayberk hit a great ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murilo Fernandes in the 89th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Murilo Fernandes in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. If Roberto Pacheco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. mar-azul fully deserved thier win.
