Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Barry Houghton kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zacarias Sesimbra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Pedro Pauleta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Barry Houghton in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zacarias Sesimbra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dragonf⮊rcE's goalkeeper Zacarias Sesimbra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Mariano Lacasa, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 33 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Zacarias Sesimbra was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Thiago Pliego didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Barry Houghton went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Felix Garrido hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barry Houghton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chile's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Virgílio Coelho was slow to take the kick. During this time Dragonf⮊rcE's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Virgílio Coelho got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Thiago Pliego quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mariano Lacasa was the one to do the kick off. It was a well-played corner which Francisco Carballar managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 58th minute, Chile's Gerardo Pozo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gerardo Pozo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Chile protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gerardo Pozo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. Thiago Pliego was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Herman Dresselbjerg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Herman Dresselbjerg really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Jose Manzanedo scored 1-2 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zacarias Sesimbra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dragonf⮊rcE made a substitution. Karin Benzema replaced Barry Houghton. After a rather tough play, Chile's Jose Manzanedo got a free kick in the 88th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Karin Benzema had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thiago Pliego. Chile's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karin Benzema was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Orlando Casaus took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zacarias Sesimbra. Zacarias Sesimbra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. Dragonf⮊rcE's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
